Tuesdays With Morrie The Fourth Tuesday We talk about Death

It's just another Tuesday. The O.J. trail is still going one. Now Morrie sometimes needs an oxygen machine to breath and Mitch doesn't like the fact that Morrie is attached to a machine. Morrie moves around with all kinds of religion. Morrie is teaching Mitch to learn how to live. After that Morrie went through all the letters that people send to him and write back to them.

Mitch wrote, "Once you learn how to die, you learn how to live" (Albom 82). Morrie is saying that when your about to die then you realize the stuff you need and the people you need in your life and you would learn how to live.

Message of the Chapter

To appreciate life and to learn how to live.

The bed because it a symbol for death. Morrie said than when you are in bed you are dead so he tries to not be in bed a lot.
