Knightly Knews 10/27/17 Friday, OCTOBER 27, 2017

Next week is the last week of the first card marking and will be a busy one. Be sure to check out next week's schedule with the link at the bottom.

Many of you are aware of the THS senior who died suddenly early this week. Know that our counselors are always available and so helpful in supporting students. Your child's social and emotional needs are just as important to us as his/her academic needs. Please don't hesitate to reach out to Mrs. Hartenburg or Mr. Denyes with any questions or concerns related to your child. All of the Smith staff care deeply about each of our students and want to support them in any way.

Have a great weekend!

Building & Site Sinking Fund Vote Coming Soon

In a little over a week, you will be asked to decide an important issue in the November election. The Troy School District is asking voters to consider a 1 mill Building and Site Sinking Fund. This fund would be created at NO INCREASE TO YOUR CURRENT TAX RATE and would allow us to make necessary repairs and refurbishments to Smith and the rest of our schools.

If you have questions about this proposal, there is lots of information and a FAQ link on the TSD website.

As always, thank you for your support!
