Cape Town Take a vacation!

Take a trip to Cape Town, South Africa and explore it's beautiful places.

A place to visit would be boulders beach, it's a beautiful beach surrounded by boulders, that's how it got its name. The boulders shelter the beach from winds and high waves, making it a perfect spot to swim. The beach also falls under the Table Mountain National Park Marine Protected Area, making it a clean and safe area. Penguins spend time there year round, but January would be the best time to visit because the young penguins are moulting.
If you like to hike, Table Mountain is definitely for you. It's also a National Park so be sure to pick up a guide map at the entrance. If you decide to go hiking, you'll need a good pair of shoes or boots. Also, walking sticks would be a good idea, we don't want a terrible crash happening on your way back down.
Another cool place to visit would be Two Oceas Aquarium. It brings creatures from the Indian and Atlantic oceans into the same building in cool exhibits. There's a Jelly Gallery, featuring lots of jellyfish in a new way. The newest exhibit; I&J Ocean Exhibit is a 10 meter long tunnel, and a 9 meters wide, 4 meters high window showing a bunch of subtropical species.
Another place to visit if you're a huge Panic! At The Disco fan would be the Ostrich Farm venue. It was the last venue Panic! At The Disco played with former guitarist Ryan Ross and former bassist Jon Walker. If you do decide to visit here, you'll probably want to make sure you packed tissues. It can get pretty emotional.
If you want a faster way to get to the top of Table Mountain, the Table Mountain Aerial Cableway is a good option. The car takes you straight to the top of Table Mountain for a beautiful view you just can't get anywhere else.

Prices to Cape Town from Columbus seem to average around the $1,400 range, so it's pretty pricy. The cheapest tickets would be United Airlines roundtrip tickets for $1,337. The plane ride would last for 33 hours and 55 minutes and would take two stops.

The room prices seem to average around $350 per night at the Radisson Blu Hotel Waterfront. It's a beautiful hotel by the water with rooms that have views of Table Mountain and the ocean. There's also a spa and poolside bar.
