Iceland A family holiday that left me wanting more but helped me appreciate everything.

We are fortunate in that we have travelled together more than many, since having our son Harri nothing has changed. Now we start a new chapter this time creating another set of memories with our little man.

Memories are special moments that tell our story.
The best thing about memories... is making them

Iceland has been high on our list of places to visit for some time. Although we only had five days, it was enough to realise this is one special island.

Which ever direction you travel, every road takes you on a remarkable journey to another breathtaking place.

The winds came from any and every direction, bringing with them a cutting chill that had you covering your ears in seconds. Moments like this help you to feel alive.

The South of the Island was immensely dramatic and under the limited Winter light you were quickly transported to place time forgot.
As his eyes light up, so does my heart.
I imagine the Island would soon reclaim her land given the chance.
To live in the wild here you need to be tough yet the ponies looked at home and their friendliness momentarily made you forget about the harshness in which they lived.
Living here must be rather special.

Although we only scratched the surface of this truly breathtaking place, the island has kept part of me there knowing that I will now have to return.

We don't remember days, we remember moments.
