Make Your Own Pesto

Making your own Pesto is quick and easy with a food processor! The ingredients that you will need are: Fresh basil, garlic, lemon, olive oil and Parmesan or Romano cheese.
Clean 2 cups of basil leaves.
Cut 12 oz. of Parmesan or Romano cheese into chunks and put in the food processor with the blade at the bottom.
Spin until the cheese is well grated.
Slice 2 cloves of garlic and add to the food processor for a spin.
Add the basil leaves and spin, while slowly adding 1/8 C. olive oil and the juice from half of a squeezed lemon.
Add your pesto to cooked pasta, a pizza crust, or your favorite sandwich. Enjoy!
