The CATSPY Awards Celebrating Wildcat Student-Athletes

The CATSPY Awards are the University of Kentucky Athletics Department's annual celebration of the achievements of Wildcat student-athletes, coaches and staff. Introduced in 2003, the awards show was inspired by the ESPY Awards and serves as the finale of each academic year.

Student-athletes from all 22 sports attend the CATSPYs, dressing to the nines and enjoying a banquet and a live band...and that's before the awards show even starts.

National champions, conference champions, world-record holders, Olympians, Hall of Famers and All Stars have graced the stage at the CATSPYs. Awards range from the Legacy Award to Scholar-Athlete of the Year to the Community Service Award to the prestigious Mr. and Miss Wildcat awards. 2019 winners can be found here.

Last year's awards were hosted by the TV personalities Laura Rutledge and Marcus Spears and every year UK's sports video department produces funny, entertaining and uplifting pieces just for the CATSPYs.
