Nov & Dec 2016 Closing out the year in a beautiful way

Park the car. Open the door as the brisk air awakens your skin and meander over to the large old home where your friends await by the tree.

The magic of Christmas was felt by all on Friday, December 9th, as we filled the familiar spaces of White Oak Plantation once again to celebrate each other and recognize 13 special individuals who have been committed to making our company a wonderful place to work over the years.

Look at all these lovely faces by the tree!..The gift that keeps on giving the whole year.

The employees mingled while waiting to be fed. As visions of gumbo and pecan pie danced in their heads.

Thank you, all, for your years of service,

Luke, Ivy, Tara, Sidney, Jane, Ellen, Helen, Dacia, Paul, Judy, Gus, Debra and Tyler.

Tyler Lafauci, you are truly a special person. Cheers to forty years! We sincerely appreciate you and all you do.

Seth, Gus and Greg share memories, hugs and tears of joy.

Thank you all for such a wonderful turnout and allowing for us to grab a few photos! Natalie, thank you for all your time and effort with this event!!

Other special Events from the past two months

So much fun participating in this event and having the opportunity to be the Gold sponsors. The attendees were excited about getting an insulated mug with our logo, and enjoyed some words from Gus. Thank you, Gonzales team, for helping us represent!

Everything about Girls on the Run is a blast! They hold two 5k races a year, one in the spring and again in the fall. Thousands show up, hundreds run, and everyone has a smile on their face. This time, we handed out some of our 'Stronger Together' t-shirts, along with the usual face stamps, which the kids LOVE... The perfect day!

Special thanks to Jaime, Brittney A., Lauren H., and Katie G. for helping out with this fun event!

The Ascension Parish Seniors And Lawmen Together (SALT) Advisory Council held their annual Crime Prevention Expo for older adults on November 15th at Lamar Dixon in Gonzales, where the theme was Seniors and Lawmen Together. The event, sponsored by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office and co-sponsored by City of Gonzales, provided lunch to all participants as they listened to Sheriff Jeff Wiley and Superintendent David Alexander (aka Dacia’s husband!) speak on recent events within the community as well as their 2017 goals for the area.

Thank you, Walter, for your time and help with this event!

Welcome back, Denham springs!
