John 5:19-26 Luci civetti

In summary, John 5:19-26 explains that Jesus is like the Father. He is a part of him that was sent down to earth to physically do things that God does in Heaven.

In the text it says "for just as the Father raises the dead and gives life, so also does the Son give life to whomever he wishes." This explains that they have the same power and love.

Another example in the text is "nor does the Father judge anyone, but he has given all judgment to his Son." God the Father does not judge us. He sent his only Son, a piece of himself to help us on earth.

As we have learned before, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are all one and have the same purpose.
