Coke vs Big k MAX, Ian, devon

Our oringal prediction was that everyone was gonna know which one was coke and which one was BIg K

....................................Coke.....................................

..................................…Big K....….............................

24/44 identified coke and 20/44 identified Big K. 3/44 people said they tasted the same.

People said that coke was more flat, sweeter, thicker, had more fizz, and more carbonated. Their comments on Big K was that the smell gave it away, it tasted more like pop, fizzier, and that it was more flat

Branding has a major impact on the mind of the consumer. People see national brand names and immediately are more drawn toward them than to other private brands. More people in our survey said that they enjoyed the private brand, Big K, better than Coca Cola, even though a larger majority of people could identify Coke as the national brand. However, half of the general population will still buy the product that costs double the price. But because our products taste so similar, along with the existential price difference, we think more people would buy that private brand in respect to our product more than others in general.
