The First Amendent by gwen mitchell

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

The first amendment tells us that congress isn't going to tell us what religion we must follow, that congress can't keep us from speaking our minds, nor take away our speech, or freedom of the press.

"I have a dream I'll live everyday to its fullest, and love my family and friends no matter" - Gwen. M
" we don't need to listen to those who tell us to shut it or to be quiet, we can speak our minds"
us runners don't give up and never listen to the people who say something is impossible. no matter who we are we just keep pushing till we cross that finish line

A supreme case involving the first amendment is prayer in public in schools because you didn't get freedom to practice your own religion
