Nuts and Bolts
Friday, October 15th from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM (PST) and Saturday, October 16th from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (PST)
This event is free, open to the public, and will be live-captioned.
There will be a total of 7.5 Clock Hours available for WAEA members.
The conference will be held virtually on Zoom this year.
We will have Awards, a Keynote Speaker, and a Virtual 50th Anniversary Party on Friday evening. Saturday morning will start off with an open membership WAEA meeting and then head into a day filled with Workshops and Collaboration.

- WAEA will continue to do Virtual Monthly Workshops every 3rd Saturday of each month throughout the year! As a WAEA member, you can earn 1.5 clock hours each month!*
- You can earn 7.5 hours for the Fall conference!*
- You can earn even more clock hours if you sign up for the Art and Soul Wisconsin Art Education Association Conference!*
*But only if you are a Washington Art Education Association member.

How can you help?
The WAEA is putting the call out for Presenters!
Please use this form to show us your interest in doing a live (yet virtual) workshop on Saturday, Oct. 16th.
You may also indicate on the Presenter Interest Form whether you would be interested in:
- Hosting a breakout room, a casual, collaborative discussion on a topic.
- Creating a video to share on a Resource Padlet that will be hosted on the WAEA website.
- You can even tell us that you want to present later in the year!
No worries, WAEA will handle the tech. All you need is a smile and an idea!

We are always looking for articles...Do YOU wanna be published?
We will host a Virtual Art Gallery for WAEA members to post (school-appropriate) artworks on a crowd-sourced Art Gallery Page.
WAEA members will be able to link your websites or your Etsy shops! We can use it as a Virtual Art Marketplace!
We will be hosting a place on the WAEA website where you may upload your own videos and resources to share with others.
As we come together, let us share what has been working and those "Wow, I wished someone had shown me that!" moments with each other.

We will have a collaborative "Choose Your Own Adventure" session on Saturday from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM where we can connect on like-minded topics for discussion, collaboration, and sharing of ideas.
Want to host a room to talk about TAB? What about parental engagement? What about portfolios? What about incorporating working artists in your classroom? How to run an effective virtual field trip? Maybe something you want to reflect on from the day!
