Demeter GAbriella MAnriquez

she was the goddess of harvest and fertility. Her symbols are wheat, torch, and bread. Her parents are Cronucopia and Rhea. She had a daughter named Persephone but she was abducted by Hades. Demeter searched for her with lost and grief. So the seasons halted and living things stop growing and died. she was worshiped in Eleusis.

Character Traits- Demeter was kind because she re-paid people for even the smallest favors. Demeter was also responsible because she was raising and nurturing children and family. She also was very loving especially to her children.

The main theme of the myth is the strength of love between a mother and a child.

Demeter is very strong in many different ways.
