The mostrART illustration and photo exhibition has become a high point in terms of contemporary artistic dissemination, based on a theme that promotes discussion - the 2019 edition is about The Future. O mostrART exposição de ilustração e fotografia tem vindo a constituir-se como um ponto alto no que diz respeito à divulgação artística contemporânea, com base num tema que promove a reflexão – a edição de 2019 é subordinada ao tema "O Futuro".
The theme of this year’s edition is the Future, and it can be about the future that we are afraid of, it may be about the future we want or the ideal future, or the future that we cannot escape from. Our future is tomorrow, so share with us your vision of the future and we will try to contribute to a better one for all. O tema deste ano é o Futuro e pode ser o futuro que temos medo que chegue, pode ser o futuro que queremos, o ideal, ou o futuro para do qual não temos como fugir. O nosso futuro é já amanhã, por isso partilhem connosco a vossa visão do futuro e vamos tentar contribuir para um que seja melhor para todos.

These editions have been attended by artists from all over the world. It is a demonstration of true appreciation and human quality of the national and international artistic community, always sensitive, opinionated and available to give their best when the goal is to alert and change mentalities (it has even been possible to have the presence of participating illustrators who, on the spot, delight the public with their art). Estas edições têm vindo a contar com a participação de artistas de todo o mundo, numa demonstração de verdadeiro apreço e qualidade humana da comunidade artística nacional e internacional, sempre sensível, opinativa e disponível para dar o seu melhor quando o objetivo é alertar e mudar mentalidades (tem sido possível, inclusivamente, contar com a presença de ilustradores participantes que, in loco, deliciam o público com a sua arte).
We cannot change everything that is wrong. What we can, we have an obligation to do. Não podemos mudar tudo o que está mal. Aquilo que podemos, temos obrigação de o fazer.
