Slasher Girls & Monster Boys Book Review By: Charlotte, mms

Have you ever been so afraid that you had to look over your shoulder? Well April Genevieve Tucholke’s Slasher Girls & Monster Boys bleeds with that feeling. This book is an assortment of horror stories, and this is one of my favorites.

Jaycee was a singer with a drug addiction. All she wanted was to be left alone, but her mom, Kira, wanted her career to be successful.

So she admitted Jaycee into a rehab for troubled teens that had a secret history of suicides and murders.

Then, one day Kira calls Jaycee and hears her screaming, along with a high metallic whine in the background. Kira decides to wait until Jaycee’s time to come out to go get her.

When Jaycee come home however, she seems a little, off. Kira looks up the rehab and is terrified by what she sees.
