Defense Keys Cyclone Win ISU Beats omaha, 91-47

Iowa State held Omaha to just 28.4 percent shooting and a season-low 47 points. The Mavs entered the game shooting 45.5 percent from the field and averaging 83.9 points.
Iowa State hasn't allowed more than 25 points or higher than 40 percent field-goal shooting in the last five halves.
Deonte Burton scored the first 13 points for the Cyclones and finished with a game-high 20 to lead the Cyclones.
Monte Morris dished out nine assists and became the third player in school history to dish out 600 career dimes.
Naz Mitrou-Long finished with 11 points, including dunks on back-to-back possessions.
Donovan Jackson drilled a career-high five 3-pointers and finished with 15 points. ISU hit a Prohm-era high 15 threes as a team, seven more than its previous season high.
The Cyclones return to action Thursday night at Iowa. Tip is scheduled for 7 p.m. (ESPN2).
