Kings View on the Boston Tea Party

I chose the Tea Act, here are some facts.

1 - The parliament hoped that they would convince the colonists to but there low- priced Tea.

2- The act was passed in 1773 and it put tax on the Tea so they would have to pay MORE.

3- The colonists poured the high taxed Tea into the Boten Harbor , which made the King angry

4- After the colonists poured high priced tea into the harbor the King was furious with them and made a rule that NO ship carrying colonial goods could enter or leave the Boston Harbor.

5- They did until the Massachusetts Colony payed for ALL of the destroyed Tea.
