The Emerald Ash Borer kingdom is the animal kingdom. It's family is the buprestidae family that family is also known as the beetle family. They are known for their color ( jewel green ).It's class is inscta which is the insects.

Structural and Behavioral Adaptations

Some structural adaptations of the Emerald Ash Borer are that they have antenna and they are referred to as the ''feelers'' and used for sensing out things for example their prey. Also some more structural adaptations are that they have a narrow body, wings and a flat head. One behavioral adaptation is that they eat emerald ash trees to survive.

The Emerald Ash Borer's natural habitat is eastern Asia and they live in cool and warm climates and with well drained soil for the ash trees to grow and with direct sunlight.

Ecosystems That The Emerald Ash Borer Invades

The Emerald Ash Borer's invaded North America in 2002 and also in 2002 it invaded Southeastern Michigan and the United States .

How Did The Emerald Ash Borer Migrate To It's New Area

The Emerald Ash Borer migrated to it's new area by it being in a tree and the tree gets cut down with the emerald ash borer in it then the tree gets loaded on to a truck with the emerald ash borer and the truck goes to its destination along with the emerald ash borer.

The negative impacts of an Emerald Ash Borer

Some negative impacts of the emerald ash borer are that it eats away trees (ash trees)which causes the trees to die. which can cause a loss of biodiversity.

Efforts to control the Emerald Ash Borer

Here are some ways to control the Emerald Ash Borer. firstly people put out traps which uses a natural chemical to capture. And to save your ash trees from the Emerald Ash Borer you can use tree and shrub insect control which shows you how to use it towards the end of the video below.
