Vietnam was under Chinese rule for 1000 years and 100 years as French colony. The rich history has given the country a wide variety of culture and architectures
The Vietnamese people are friendly and always welcomed foreigners.

The best destination to start in Vietnam is the north of the country, or capital of the country, Hanoi city.

And then there would be tour that start from Hanoi city to the south of the country, Ho Chi Minh city.

Or if you a “hardcore” adventure type, there is a service that you can rent a scooter, or motorcycle, to guide you own throughout the country.

The first place to start is Hanoi city. It is a smaller city with about 8 million population. The city was built with many “man-made” lake by the French to cool the temperature in the city.

The temple of literature in Hanoi city where it was dedicated to all the scholars long time ago. This place used to be where royal exam took placed. It is a good place to learn about the history when emperor time still in existent. This temple is also feature in 100 thousand Vietnam dong, or the currency used in Vietnam.

About 200 kilometers, or 100 miles, east of Hanoi city, there is Ha Long bay, a UNESCO world heritage site.

There are many limestones carves with many beautiful natural rock formations.

About 100 miles north west of Hanoi city, is Sapa city. It is also one rare place of Vietnam where there is snow in the winter. In Sapa city, Visitor will have a change to experiment the country life. Since it is part of the highest mountain range in Vietnam, it is a dream place for mountain hikers

On the way to the south of Vietnam, Phong Nha-Ke Bang national park also a UNESCO world heritage site. The park is the oldest forest in Asia which approximately 400 million years ago, The forest still has many areas that haven't been discovered that will be interested the adventure visitors.

After Phong Nha-Ke Bang national park, Hue city is also worth mentioned. It is used to be called citadel of Vietnam.

The Hue royal palace was a capital when emperor Gia Long was in charged in 1789. It is the symbol of wealth and power in Vietnam at that time.
There were also so many emperors’ tombs of the later generation in Hue city with rich history and architectures that worth to visit.

About 70 miles south of Hue city is Hoi An city, the city with some of the oldest architectures of Vietnam. Visitor will have a change to experiment the history town shopping on the street where it is unique to Asian culture.

Before arrive at Ho Chi Minh city, visitors will have a chance to experience one of the best beach side of Vietnam, Nha Trang city.

Cam Ranh bay also the part of Nha Trang city. It is the finest deep water shelter for southeast Asia.

After the beach visit, visitors can go west in to land for about 60 miles and about up on the mountain to experiment the cooler weather of Vietnam, Da lat city.

In Da Lat city, there are many natural attractions such as mountain trails, waterfalls and lakes that can give the best vacation time experience.

Finally, arrive at Ho Chi Minh city, one of the biggest city of Vietnam. It is the center of economy of the country. It has about 9 million population and with many high buildings.

Vietnam is not most developed country, but it has the simple and happy life that visitor can get from vacation.
