Merry christmas to you from all of us in Tornby, Denmark...
2016 was the year when Julie turned 12, and Nicholas 18 - a big day in Denmark, at that age you are "adult", and you can vote for elections etc.
We had a small birthday party at a restaurant with his closest family... (with all of you missing) - a lovely day...
For a short summer holliday we went to Flensburg in Germany, a lovely city where we rented a flat for 3 days.. It was nice and warm, so we had a lovely day at the beach in Glücksburg. The other days we went shopping, eating at restaurants etc.
And then we became grandparents.....
In november we had to say goodbye to my lovely Abbie.. She was sick, the vet found a huge cancer in her belly, and there was only one thing to do... She is burried next to Tasja, my mum and Eriks dog that they also had to put to rest this year.. It has been so horrible and still is....
Luckily we still have som crayzy cats..
We are at my mums house christmas eve, with Nicholas as only "child". Julie and the boys are with their dad/mum.
New years eve we are having at home, no plans yet...
We all wish you a merry chistmas and a happy new year..Next year we hope for lots of pleasures, lots of time with family and friends, and still with great hopes for wining the lotto so we all can come and see you very soon.....
