My Humanistic Self Mikayla Maciejewski

Humanistic psychologists believe that people are basically good if they have the right environment to flourish in. That right environment is described as the growth promoting climate.

My family gave me a great growth promoting climate by always being genuine, accepting me for who I am and always being empathetic. My family views me with unconditional positive regard.

Self Concept is all our thoughts and feelings about ourselves in answering the question "Who am I? ". The self concept is the central feature of personality.

I'm hardworking, courageous, determined, creative, enthusiastic, and opinionated. Since I see myself in a positive way I see the world in a positive way. If I had a negative view of myself I would also see the world in a negative way.
