Im going tot be sharing some of my tips on conturing. Face conturing is a good way to flaunt your best features. These techniques are used by professionals and every day women so don't be intimidated.
First I apply concealer as a high lighter, I use the L.A girls's Pro Concealer . I learned that it wasn't just made for under my eyes ,but also for any dark or shadowing areas on my face. The best place to apply concealer is underneath the eyes, between the eyebrows, all over the eyelids ,down the middle of the nose and underneath the nose toward the mouth. I usually use my fingers to blend,or just use a beauty blender.
The most important tip is to have a good base foundation. I love the Physicians Formula BB Cream,it blends well and doesn't take away from your highlight. You're not obligated to use this foundation, its just one i prefer.
After I apply my foundation I use Wet n Wild's press powder to set my face. You could also use a translucent powder to set your face as well.
The way I contour varies, since my face structure isn't the same as a lot of peoples. So here is the way you contour depending on the way your face is structured.
I use the Black Radiance True Complexion Contour Palette for contouring,I also use Beauty Treat Face Contour Palette .
I use Air Spun Powder for baking.
I first start with my cheek bones, I make a line from my ear to the outer part of my mouth. I contour my forehead starting at one side to the other. I make a line under both jaw lines to define them. When i contour my nose i use a darker shade on the sides of my nose and a lighter shade for the creases on the side of my nose. After contouring I "bake" my under my eyes, the line of contour and down my nose and also in between my eyebrows.
Finally ,depending on the look im wearing I set all my makeup with NYX's Matte or Dewy Setting spray for a full day of long lasting makeup.
