One of our primary products is our 4 foot LED TUBE LIGHTS.

At $35 per light these self contained units provide 2200 lumen of 6000k white light. Very bright, very economical, and very Cool Gear.

They are easy to install and have very low energy consumption.

Our customers tell us they underestimate how well these lights work. We are confident you will feel the same.

Limited shadows with great light saturation through quality diffusion.

These lights are easy to install and can be run by connecting to each other up to 14 in a row before needing a new power source. The amp draw for each light is .25 amp and 18 watts.

Each light is held in place with two mini clips that are nearly invisible once the light is installed.


How well do the lights work in the cold?

Unlike fluorescent tubes these lights are instant on and will operate very well at -40.

Fluorescent tubes as you are likely aware, take time to heat up because of the gas and the ballast. LED lamps do not operate in the same way and are not affected by the cold.

What colour are the lights?

We currently have 6000 K colour available.

Normal fluorescent lights are in the 3500K range. Our lights are whiter than normal fluorescent tubes.

Lights are available in Red LED and Blacklight LED in addition to the common clear and white frosted.

What is the warrAnty for the lights?

The lights have a life expectancy 50,000 hours.

Lights are run tested at the factory and must function for 70 hours without failure as part of the quality control process.

As far as warranty goes, if there is a defect we are happy to replace the light. The warranty is limited to proper use, voltage and the lack of physical damage.

At the end of the day because we believe in customer service we will work to ensure that you always get resolution to any problems you are faced with.

How do I connect the lights?

Each light is supplied with a number of different connectors. There are 3 in total.

The lights can be hard wired into a box, plugged in to an outlet with the addition of a plug end or through an optional switched cable individualy controled.

Also available are premade plugs, extension flex connectors and switches.

How bright are the lights?

Lights are measured in a couple ways. Watts and Lumens.

Watt, is the measure most people relate to. Most will say the more watts the more light. In general this is true with incandescent light and only partly true for LED lights. It does not take as many watts to create the same light with LED.

Our lights are 18 Watts and near 2200 Lumens of light. Measured at 120 lumen / watt.

What are Lumens?

Watts measure the amount of energy required to power products, lumens measure the amount of light produced. The more lumens in a light, the brighter the light.

40-watt incandescent bulb = 450 lumens

60-watt incandescent bulb = 800 lumens

100-watt incandescent=1600 lumens

Our lights are 18 watts but produce 2200 lumen.

How many lights do I need?

There are a number of factors to consider including the use of the space, the type of work or activity that will take place, the height, wall reflection etc.

Lights should be mounted as high as possible do to the casting pattern, they function well when mounted high.

Space between the rows of lights should be 10 - 12 feet and 8 to 10 feet from each wall.

Example… 6-8 light configuration

A 20x24 garage would have two rows of lights 8 feet from the wall and 8 feet between each row. Each row would have three lights with the space of 4 feet on either end.

If you have a workbench on one end you may wish to consider a couple of lights over top of the bench to prevent shadows when working on items.
