Memorial Day is the time for Americans to reconnect with their history and core values by honoring those who gave their lives for the ideals we cherish. Many students likely view Memorial Day as an extra day off of school and a glimpse of what summer has to bring. I have included a few articles that might give you some ideas on how you can have an intentional and informative conversation with your child about the meaning and purpose of Memorial Day. Enjoy time with your child this Memorial Day. God bless America!

The annual Wass Family Picnic is scheduled for Friday, June 2 from 6:30-8:30 PM. We will have inflatable play equipment, a cake walk, face-painting, and other fun activities for everyone to enjoy. We have moved the time back a little this year so families don't feel rushed and might prefer to eat dinner before attending. We will not be selling pizza or or hosting a pot luck dinner this year. There will be two food trucks and treats available for purchase. Bring your lawn games, chairs, and blankets and enjoy a night together as a school community. This event is for Wass families only. We look forward to a fun night together on Friday.
