We are an active family. We all enjoy a good 5K race! I love to run, but am not fast. My goal is always to just finish the race I start. I mostly participate in 5K and 10K races, but have completed two half marathons as well. My husband is obsessed with triathlon and has completed a full ironman competition before. He has completed many half ironman races and our family gets to travel to some cool places to watch him compete. Our next trip will be to Texas during spring break! Our children are involved in football, cheer, basketball, dance, baseball, softball, and golf. We stay busy!
We are also involved in our church. We love Brooklet United Methodist Church! It is a small traditional church and we have attended there since 2002. Come join us sometime!
We LOVE the beach! Well, I love the beach and my family goes with me because they know how happy it makes me! Any beach is my happy place but my favorite is Miami beach!
We love the outdoors and decided to put a pool in our backyard last spring. We look forward to warmer weather so we can get back in the pool!!!
School is very important to us. My husband and I both hold teaching degrees. After six years of teaching, he decided to go a different route and opened a power washing business. I am in my 15th year of teaching and hope to be able to obtain a media specialist position one day. I am in my 12th year of teaching kindergarten and have also taught two years in third grade and one in second. This is a picture of my kids on the first day of school this year. The first day of school is always an exciting day!
Here are a couple of cute pet pictures that were encouraged! I couldn't find any pictures of Diego as she likes to wonder in the woods close by our house and pretty much only comes around when she's ready to eat. Savannah lives inside and only barks if someone comes to the door.
We are truly blessed and I also feel blessed to have the opportunity and support from my family to be able to go back to school. This is something I have been considering for a couple of years now and am excited to continue on this journey! Happy spring 2017 semester!!!
