Promise of Wisdom God's Promises

James 1:5 - "If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him." (NIV)

When you are stuck... you've got a problem, what is your gut response?

SOLVE IT. RIGHT?

Think, think, think. Maybe if you think about it a little longer, you will get the wisdom you need. Right?

Why not try Jesus' approach?

John 5:19-20 - "Jesus gave them this answer: “I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does. For the Father loves the Son and shows him all he does. Yes, to your amazement he will show him even greater things than these."

If Jesus (as Creator of the universe) was so dependent on his Father's wisdom, how can you keep going on without asking your Father for wisdom?

Just ask for your father's wisdom. He will give it to you. it's his promise.
