Team Effort: An International Coalition of Broadcasters Pools Resources to Compete with Streaming Giants

In the face of perceived dominance in the documentary marketplace by such major SVODs as Netflix and Amazon, an international coalition of broadcasters, led by ro*co films international, is pooling its resources to acquire and co-produce a small number of high-profile documentaries that otherwise might have been gobbled up by the giant digital platforms.

Doping Whistleblower Grigory Rodchenkov Urges Russia To Come Clean

He's the eccentric doctor immortalized in the Netflix documentary "Icarus," the whistleblower who exposed what a leading report called a doping "cover-up that operated on an unprecedented scale" in Russia. Now Dr. Grigory Rodchenkov is urging Russia to "do the right thing" and admit it.

IMPACT:

The PBS premiere of Almost Sunrise with extended content funded by CMP

The feature length movie was followed by a “wraparound” short piece titled “Voices Of Resilience” that gave the audience a deeper dive into the moral injury vets are suffering from when they return home. "Voices of Resilience" was made possible because of a CMP Impact Grant Fund gift.
