I believe that the US should not take in any more refugees. According to the TIME article Ben Carson doesn't trust refugees because of the recent attack on Paris, France.
If we were to take in any more refugees we could be at risk of being under another attack. According to many Republican governors they need to make it tougher to enter the U.S. so that only the healthy and safe people can enter the U.S. in the article Republican governors tell obama no syrian refugees in our state they say, “It would be very hard to spot fighters hidden in with the refugees.”
Say we were to let refugees into the U.S. without high security checking them the could have guns or bombs with them or a bad criminal record or even be really sick. Which could lead to killing many people or spread bad diseases.
Final reason is that the U.S. already has a 13.5% poverty rate which is pretty high and the Republican governors don't want to spend any more money on the families.
If we were to let more refugees into the U.S. are poverty rate will go up and then taxes will go up so that the state can pay for the poor refugee families.
