"Always has there been an adventure just around the corner - and the world is full of corners "
Waking up at 5am to get ready, having a cup of coffee and arriving at the hot air balloon site by 6 am is difficult when its only forty degrees outside but absolutely worth it! The air in Napa Valley is clear and refreshing but most importantly freezing. The concept of layering clothes is crucial for an adventure like this one.
Stylish & warm
As my bottom layers (not pictured) I wore simple black leggings and a black long sleeve body suit. As my actual outfit i wore this beige knit sweater from Forever 21. Not only was it warm but the detailing in the front goes perfect with the lace-up trend that has followed into winter attire. On top, I wore my tan faux-suede jacket from H&M to go along with this neutral outfit.
For jeans, I wore this dark wash and slit jeans from Top Shop and styled them with short black boots. Layers don't always have to be obvious. I was able to stay warm throughout all morning and through out my air balloon ride yet, no one would have known how much clothing I was actually wearing.
And finally, can't forget about these two necessities: blanket scarf and a hat! Not only did they give the outfit the final touch but also, the hat helped with the wind constantly blowing my hair.
You can't visit Napa Valley without taking a tour of the Castello di Amorosa. Not even the fact that it was raining. For the last day in Napa Valley, I went for a go-to easy outfit perfect for the rainy and cold weather. Faux leather jacket from Urban Outfitters, dark wash jeans from Top Shop and these black low-top booties from Aldo. Besides the castle, the views from the top of the hill were breathtaking.
