“How have the 'gritty’ moments in the school’s history developed determination, hope, belonging, purpose and/or wellbeing?” by eleanor, olivia, anqi,vi and alicia

Throughout the history of Kincoppal - Rose Bay, the determination, hope, purpose, belonging and wellbeing have been affected by different gritty moments. Overall, these terribly tough times have created better, stronger people. Without these hardships the school would not be the same today. Some of these gritty moments are WWII, the foundation of the school, the amalgamation and the death of Sister Philomene Tiernan. These times have changed the lives of all those who were involved with the school at those times.
