Bridal Information 2017

How It Works

The first stage is an obligation free consultation, this is by appointment only as I work from a design studio not a bridal shop.

During the consultation we will talk through your ideas, look at inspiration photos and my sample dresses. I will sketch out a rough idea of the dress and provide a quote for you to take away.

The next stage if you decide to go ahead is a further consultation to take measurements and finalise the design and fabric choices. I will provide you with a more detailed sketch and fabric samples.

Once this has been confirmed I will email a contract detailing the design of your dress and an invoice requesting a 50% deposit.

The first fitting is a calico mock up or toile, from this I'll make the pattern and cut your dress.

The dress is then constructed for the second fitting. It won't be complete but will have enough detail for me to assess the fit.

The dress is then completed for the final fitting. There may be more fittings depending on the complexity of design and the date of the wedding.

The balance is then paid and the dress is ready for collection

The collection dresses range from £900 - £1800. They can be customised to really make them your own or a full bespoke service starts at £1300 + materials. I can provide a more detailed quote once we chat through your ideas.

I usually advise 6-8 months for a dress to be made. This allows time for design choices and fittings. However depending on the time of year a shorter turnaround time may be possible so please feel free to get in touch.

I ask that you bring no more than two or three people with you to the initial appointment. My studio is quite small so can't accommodate large groups.

Studio Address: Unit 14, 6 Harmony Row, Govan, Glasgow, G51 3BA and my contact number is 07444380613

For weekday appointments enter the building walk through reception and out to the car park turn left and use buzzer 14 and go up one flight of stairs

For Saturday appointments use the buzzer on the outside of the building, take the double doors to your left and go up one flight of stairs.
