Centriole Isabella soto

Why does it have particular folds?

*The Centriole is shaped like a cluster of barrel- shaped structures, Centrioles play a big role in a cells duplication process

is it located in a specific place in the cell?

* usually are in pairs and positioned so that they are at right angles next to each other near the nucleus

What's the organelles main focus?

*is to help with cell division in animal cells. The centrioles help in the formation of the spindle fibers that separate the chromosomes during cell division

What does it's structure allow?

*allows to help the cell when it comes time to divide. They are put to work in both the process of mitosis.

What part of BCIT does this organelle represent?

*The Centrioles would be like the teachers, because they control the flow of students in the hallways. Just like Centrioles control the microtubules of the cytoplasm during cell division.
