CJUK Employee Assistance Programme (EAP)

A totally free service available to all CJUK Elite Chefs, offering;

Everything that can be done to help resolve issues affecting you at work and in your personal life is covered by the EAP.

It's designed specifically to assist you by providing a confidential expert service to help you when you're facing problems, difficulties or challenges relating to your home or working life.

Free services available through the EAP

  • Web chat and telephone help line - 24/7, 365 days a year
  • Advice and help sheets - topics include: Health & Wellbeing, Working Life & Financial Matters
  • Personal counselling - a series of telephone or face-to-face sessions close to where you live or work via a network of counsellors across the UK
  • Legal information and guidance - clear and simple information about legal matters, suggesting what steps to take and whom to approach to gain further advice
  • Financial planning and debt advice - you will be provided with immediate access to a full range of debt advice and assistance solutions and help with benefit advice if appropriate
  • Addiction support - Experienced professionals are on hand to help resolve addiction issues, which may relate to alcohol, drugs, gambling or other addiction issues
  • Hardship grants - you may be able to access hardship grants. in 2017, £600,000 will be provided in grants and services to people who are working or retired from the industry
  • Parenting helpline - discussions include; pregnancy & birth, single parenting, shared parenting, sleep challenges, teenage challenges, keeping children safe & monitoring use of technology
  • Whistleblowing service - a confidential service giving you the opportunity to report any work-related concerns to an independent third party
  • Managerial adviceline - there to support managers and supervisors identify key issues and explore creative solutions

How to Access EAP

You can access any of the services now by quoting 'CJUK'. It's totally free to you and completely confidential. Nobody at CJUK will know you have used the service unless you want to tell us;
