Best and Worst movies Emily Askew

Finding Nemo (2003)

Finding Nemo is a true classic of my time and one of my favorite movies. If you don't believe me, just ask any of the millions of teens and twenty somethings that flocked to theaters for the long awaited sequel last June. Many of us grew up with references to 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney and "Fish are friends, not food." We may not be kids anymore, but we're never too old for ocean puns and a good kids movie.

The Conjuring (2013)

I hate this movie so much, I'm not even quite sure where to begin. I had to watch this movie because my high school best friend (no longer friends) tricked me into third wheeling on a date. I sat alone with my friend's dog hiding under a blanket, while my friend and her "friend" cuddled and kissed for two hours. I got to witness a demon vomiting into its victim's mouth, a mother trying to stab her child with scissors, and many other horrific things. It gave me nightmares for months, and even typing about this movie right now makes me cringe. It was a terrible and scary movie.
