Volleyball Ireland Beach Continental Cup (Olympic Qualifier) Partnership Opportunities

This June Bank Holiday weekend, Volleyball Ireland will host the prestigious Beach Volleyball Continental Cup as part of the Tokyo 2020 qualifying series.

The weekend will see 16 teams battle over 30 games to qualify for the next stage.

The event will include a competition arena with 500 seats, come and try courts for spectators and live entertainment. Creating that summer summer festival atmosphere.

This is a major development for one of Ireland’s fastest growing and most exciting sports.

It’s a super chance to align with a fast paced and rapidly growing sport . With over 19,000 children in school competitions and exciting programmes that promote life long participation – Volleyball is on the up.

The National Beach Volleyball Tour which had over 100,000 attendees in 2018 is considered fun, cool and fresh with clear links to sunshine, warm weather and good times.We also run a

There are a number of unique activation opportunities. We plan to host a range of community programmes before the competition with beginner courses, corporate challenges, Summer camps and the launch of a new social volley programme.

We are open to discussions around other creative activations such as a permanent posts scheme which would see branded courts set up around Ireland. As well as a Schools Equipment initiative which will drive participation for children.

The Continental Cup

The Continental Cup was introduced in 2010 as a key part in the Olympic qualification process. Competing Nations enter two teams in each gender to battle through three stages.

The Tokyo 2020 pathway will see 8 exciting venues simultaneously host phase 1 of the Competition; Bettystown, Ireland ¦ London, England ¦ Portoroz, Slovenia ¦ Larnica, Cyprus ¦ Novi Sad, Serbia ¦ Zagreb, Croatia ¦ Shinias, Greece ¦ Batumi, Georgia

Continental Cup Partners

Federation of International Volleyball - The International Federation that governs Volleyball globally. The FIVB are the ultimate rights holder to the Olympic Qualification process.

The Confederation of European Volleyball - The European federation that governs the sport and owns the continental cup. The CEV have a considerable global reach and media following.

Volleyball Ireland - The National Governing Body for Volleyball in Ireland. Volleyball Ireland are the event organisers.

Sport Ireland - The government agency for Sport in Ireland. Sport Ireland are a key funder of the project.

Meath County Council -The local authority in the Bettystown region. Meath Co Co own the event venue.

The headline partner will have extensive branding opportunities on all courts and within the 500 seat arena. The sponsors brand will appear on all marketing as well as the Volleyball Ireland website for 1 year.

The brand will appear of volunteer t-shirts and referee sleeves. The sponsor can supply branded umbrellas and marquees to be located courtside. There are unique activation opportunities available in the build up through the support of 4 week beginner classes and school events. Sampling opportunities are available for the sponsor. We will be creative with activation opportunities such as photo boots and branded beach balls to be thrown into the crowd.

Associate Partners (€5000, 8x Available)

The silver partner will be our courtside sponsor and will receive 1 x 8ft advertising board on both competition courts, as well as 1 x feather flag. (To be provided by the sponsor). Sampling opportunities are included for the courtside sponsor. Feel free to distribute your product to our loyal and excited fan base.

We have a range of in kind supports available such as athlete/referee and volunteer clothing partners, nutrition and hydration partners and accommodation partners.
