Let´s celebrate life! A whole new year ahead of us!
365 days filled with tons of possibilities, new resolutions, new beginnings.
365 days to make things better, to set new goals.
365 days to love, to shine, to forgive, to share, to learn and to leave a mark on those around us
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE, LETS MAKE ONE TO REMEMBER.
"Choose to take some risks because along the way you will have some beautiful experiences"
INSPIRE YOUR STUDENTS
On Tuesday you have a great opportunity to set the bar high, to set the tone of this new year and the tone for this last partial ahead of us.
Let´s make each day count and never miss the opportunity to inspire our kids to look at the new year ahead of us as an opportunity to set goals, to make things better.
Below is a great video for kids to remind them about some powerful words and things to say that can make a difference in those around them.
HOW TO RAISE MORAL, KIND CHILDREN
Thank you Scott for sharing this wonderful resource!!!!
Please take a look at this short video with great advice from Richard Weissbourd, a Harvard psychologist with the graduate school of education, and the Making Caring Common Project have come up with recommendations about how to raise children to become caring, respectful and responsible adults.
PARTIAL 5 IS OVER
Please have all your grades in by Thursday January 5th.
Eliana will do a run thorough of errors on Friday and we will email report cards to all families on Monday.
Please if there is an specific report card that you would rather meet in person with parents, please come and talk to me about it.
I highly encourage you all to meet one on one with the parents of kids who are falling behind or you still need to get them on board with things.
Please start planning and getting ready for our Author Study Unit.
On the link below you can find a great resource to understand more how to launch an author study unit. Also plan activities so students can write about reading.
Kids will research and read about their authors. It is a good tiMe to teach them how to paraphrase information they are reading.
HAVE A WONDERFUL FIRST WEEK OF 2017
