The Prague Zoo is the 4th best zoo in the world! Some of the rarest lions are there. Watch trained animals perform and live happily in their caring homes.
If you're a fan of opera, ballet, or drama, then this is the place for you! The National Theater offers entertainment for everybody. Popular performances are Shakespeare's 'A Midsummer Nights' Dream', and Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice'. This location is definitely a place for those who appreciate the arts.
Let's talk about preparedness! I'm going to guide and counsel you on your trip to Czech Republic. I'll talk about cost, time, and requirements to have a smooth trip.
Firstly, and possibly most important, have an updated passport. A tourist visa isn't required unless you're planning on staying longer than 90 days. No vaccinations required. Although, it may be a good idea anyway. Keep your passport with you at all times, and a photocopy incase you lose it.
If you plan on driving on your trip, you need to be at least 18 years old in the Czech Republic. Your headlights must be on at all times. All cars are required to have a first aid kit and warning triangle. If you plan on driving major highways, you'll also need a road usage permit. And of course, no driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs. STAY SAFE!
Doing really anything anywhere is going to require currency. You will need Czech currency, or Koruna. Credit cards and traveler checks are accepted. Do not exchange money with vendors. You are at high risk of getting counterfeit bills.
You should always have a first aid kit handy when you're on a trip. Especially to different countries! Some people get sick when they travel to other countries, but don't let it spoil your fun. Just be prepared.
It's a good idea to buy a hotel package to get a better deal for your money, and maybe even a discount.
