THE RECOVERY RIDE January 29, 2017

The Recovery Ride

The Recovery Ride is a charity bike ride in its second year - helping us kick off our New Year's Resolutions with a healthy activity and do some good while we're at it! This year’s event is designed to pair our love of cycling with raising funds for nonprofits in San Diego and our beneficiary partners are Stepping Stone of San Diego and The San Diego HIV Funding Collaborative

The Recovery Ride is a fully-supported ride, with a choice of three route lengths (12/25/40 miles), providing fun options for everyone, whether a causal rider or triathelete! All three rides will originate at Swiss Park in South Bay and cycle along the Silver Strand, to the Olympic Training Center, and beyond, depending on the route chosen.

We are a fun group of riders and **no one is left behind**!

Weekly Training Rides

Each time we meet for a training ride, or to plan the event in January, or talk to people about what we're doing, we see love and kindness and caring reflected back in all of your faces, which makes this whole thing pretty awesome. What we do know is that, week by week, we're spreading love, making friends, conquering new hills, and breaking boundaries, and getting some great exercise.

So here's how you can join us: come to a training ride, register for the ride, invite a friend, join the committee, or volunteer. You're a part of this community if you say you are - and you are welcome here.

Friendships are made and funds are raised.
