The Greater Boston Young Democrats hosted a sign making party Monday afternoon. The event held at Impact Hub Boston, was meant to bring people together for the sign making party before heading over to the Boston Mexican Consulate where the group stood outside holding the signs. The President's Day event aimed to show support of Mexican immigrants and to protest President Trump's proposed wall along the Mexican border.
"We decided to take matters into our own hands," R.J. Cross said. "We are going to make signs to show solidarity with Mexico and we are going to go stand outside the Mexican Consulate in solidarity with our friends and our immigrants because no human is illegal."
