RANDY LAPRADE DIGITAL RESUME

My Story...

(Abridged)

Randy Laprade resides in the heart of central Vermont. Just a few miles from the state’s capitol. He’s currently an On-Air personality with Great Eastern Radio’s Froggy 100.9 (WWFY) and 107.1 Frank-FM (WRFK). After beginning his broadcast career at the Norwich University’s WNUB, Laprade sought to continue his work commercially. He began an internship with Froggy in January 2012. His determination and dedication led this opportunity into becoming his second part-time job while continuing to attend the university. Laprade migrated from fill-in personality to hosting Froggy’s midday shift, weekdays from 10-3pm, and Frank’s Late Afternoon Show, weekdays from 3-7pm in January 2013. Later that fall, Laprade began hosting a producing Boot Scootin’ Saturday Night, a weekly program with an upbeat country format. This show would become Laprade’s first #1 program in the Neilson ratings.

Aside from his on-air work, Laprade also manages all digital platforms for Great Eastern Radio’s Vermont cluster of stations and produces graphic materials necessary to maintain the station’s branding. In the spring of 2015, the Vermont Association of Broadcasters awarded Laprade first place for the best radio station PSA. The spot, written and produced by Laprade, is titled “Last Mile Ride.” The following year, Laprade graduated from Norwich University with a Bachelor of Science in Communications. In his rare spare time, Laprade is an avid photographer.
