Healthcare Information Security by Ashley Cephas, RN

Kate Borten (2016) writes, "Maintaining HIPAA compliance is essential for any healthcare provider, and nurses are key tools in protecting patients’ healthcare security."
Are you a HIPPA compliant nurse?
are you properly managing the clients paper medical records?
All healthcare professionals, must maintain client health information. Clients data is confidential and private.
Todays digital world is thankfully safeguarded by passwords (Alphanumeric), and fingerprint identifiers.
Nurse's must remember to log out of clients charts after each encounter.

Remember it takes a medical village to protect the clients health records.
