ISU Beats MVSU, 88-60 Cyclones move to 8-3

Nazareth Mitrou-Long picked up right where he left off after being named Big 12 Player of the Week. He scored 19 points, hitting 6-of-9 three-pointers in the win. In the last two games, he has made 14-of-21 (66.7 percent) from beyond the arc. Mitrou-Long is leading the Big 12 making 2.7 three-pointers per game.
Matt Thomas scored a career-high 23 points, making 9-of-14 field goals. Thomas also grabbed eight rebounds.
Donovan Jackson dished out a career-high six assists to go with nine points off the bench.
Solomon Young scored eight points and pulled down seven rebounds in his best game since returning from injury.
Monte Morris was in double figures for the ninth time this season with 13 points. He also had four assists, which moved him past Diante Garrett and into second at ISU and fifth in Big 12 history with 614 assists.
The Cyclones return to action Dec. 30 when they host Texas Tech in the Big 12 opener.
