JLC After School 3rd Grade Mrs. Rich week 21

Dear Aleph Families,

Hi! Today our class started the day reviewing the letters and vowels and decoding a sentence in the "Hebrish" way. Ask your child about how much fun it was!! Next, we discussed numbers 2 and 3 in some of the important rules in Hebrew while reading (p148-149 in the packet).

HOMEWORK:

*This week please read through and practice the Hebrew Rules 2 & 3 on pages 148-149 in our packet.

*Also, practice flashcards at home and put them in piles of what you know and don't know.

* An extra Rich Buck will be for those who record 1 line form each rule (Rule 2 & 3) with the new rules we learned in Seesaw.

Upcoming: Starting next students will receive the 3rd grade prayers. Each week when the students can read the prayers fluently, they may "test" and move on to the prayers by reading them with me or our Machonik. They may test on prayers that they have learned ONLY from the previous week. These prayers are NOT to be memorized, but are read fluently after practicing them during the week for homework. The goal is to be able to eventually read them during services or shabbat. Thank you!

Have a great week!

Sincerely, Stacy Rich
