College Tuition and Student Loans Why we should have a lower college tuition and student loans

We should have lower college tuitions because as a quote off of, "75% of high school seniors are accepted to their first-choice college, but less than 57% can afford to attend." This means that the school that they have been wanting to attend since before they could remember and FINALLY accepts them, now they won't be able to attend because they can't afford it. These excited high school grads., now have to pay tuition and find out that they can't afford their dream school.

Also off of the website,, it says "Americans owe more than $875 BILLION in student loans. This is more than what we own on all of our credit cards combined!" Basically, all of our money that we have worked hard for is all going to student loan debt. "College is part of the American Dream. Don't make it a financial nightmare" -Unknown
