Our Vision

Our vision is to create an inclusive environment centered on fostering independent critical thinkers and inquiry-based problem solvers who meet their academic potential through a rigorous curriculum of project-oriented programs and real world experiences.

Our Mission

Our mission is to serve the Red Clay Consolidated School District as a 6th through 12th grade life science magnet school that promotes pride and ownership of education in an academically challenging learning community. This begins with an accelerated middle school program that prepares students to become diligent scholars of the bio-science pathways in the upper grades while maintaining a traditional high school experience. The goal is for students to graduate with the knowledge and skills to be college and career ready.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) went "live" October 1st -- and parents of seniors should plan to submit the 2019-20 FAFSA with your child as soon as possible. There is no need to wait for tax information as the FAFSA will be using tax/income information from 2017. Please be sure that you are filling out the FAFSA for the 2019-20 school year and not 2018-19. All seniors should be completing the FAFSA with a parent.

  • All colleges in the state of Delaware will be waiving their application fees until November 30th. Detailed instructions are on Schoology.
  • Counselors will be visiting senior English classes on October 30 and 31 to assist students with applications.
