Central Park Dog Park Fremont, Ca

Central Park, otherwise known as Fremont dog park, is less than 5 miles from Drigon dog park. It's also across the Fremont police station and jail 😶 but don't worry, there's nothing dangerous about this park.

In fact, when we visited there was a small group of owners all hanging out and making small talk while we were all busy sniffing each other.

This park provides TONS OF ROOM TO RUN!!! Which is pretty incredible considering most of the park is covered in astroturf. There's nothing like real grass, but compared to our city parks, this is a luxury; most of SF's fenced dog parks are wood chips or gravel and only small portions of grass/astroturf.

The small dog area, also pretty large, is actually almost all grass - lucky little guys. I guess since they don't need so much space.

There's also a small obstacle course here for the more agile doggies.

I get hot and tired very quickly here since it's so much exposed space. Summers in the East Bay can get pretty warm so I don't like it so much in the middle of the day, but I'll definitely be back for another husky meet up if it's in the evening!

Look at the view!

Help me find some shade!
