100 Blocks in 100 Days FIGHTING BLIGHT ONE DOOR AT A TIME

Over a 100 day period beginning March 6th and continuing through early June, each Code Enforcement Inspector will be walking door to door to introduce themselves to the residents of the neighborhoods of Peoria.

Each inspector will be canvassing thirteen blocks in the neighborhoods they serve passing out educational flyers regarding residential property maintenance, Peoria Cares, and proper waste disposal.

Residents will have an opportunity to speak directly to their area Code Enforcement Inspectors as well as share suggestions, comments, and concerns about the neighborhood.

Keeping neighborhoods beautiful and safe takes us all working together and we can’t wait to meet the people we serve on a daily basis.

We want residents to understand that Code Enforcement is more than just writing tickets and telling people what they can’t do, it is about maintaining property value, increasing public safety, and protecting quality of life issues.
