We're keeping our fingers crossed for good weather this weekend as it is our annual Scarecrow Trail! A huge thank you to FOMPS for the work that has gone into getting the event ready and to those who have made the scarecrows. We look forward to seeing lots of you on Saturday and Sunday.
We will be running another Parent Forum on Tuesday 21st May (9am and 6.30pm). This gives a chance for you to hear about plans for the future, discuss any whole school issues or ask any questions.

FOMPS
Scarecrow Trail
FOMPS would really welcome donations of cakes for the Scarecrow trail refreshment stalls to the school office on both Friday and Saturday this week. It looks like there will be some sunshine so we anticipate another busy weekend! Big cakes that can be sliced up will go down especially well at the Trail, but do consider the potential for warmer weather melting your creation.
As a way of reducing our waste impact, this year we are offering a discount on tea and coffee to those bringing their own cup for refills. There will also be a deposit system in place to encourage returns of beer cups at the bar. Please help us to do our bit for the environment!
Scarecrow trail sheets will be on sale in the KS1 playground this afternoon at 3pm. Trail sheets are £3.
Easter Challenge
Thank you to all those filling their class jars with loose change - you raised a total of £49.51. Fieldmice came in as clear winners in both height (80 mm) and weight (a staggering 3.5kg of coins!), but were pipped at the post by Squirrels, who were the winners for the most value in their jar, raising £14.47. Pine Martens came in third with value with £11.79 but Foxes managed to beat both Squirrels and Pine Martens to come second in both height (18 mm) and weight (569g). It was great to see some good tactical saving going on in this challenge!
Thank you, as always, for your support and enjoy the weekend.
