Why I Love Iowa Created by Scott Munford

I think the Iowa State Fair is amazing. The food is glorious, and the shows are outstanding. Taking my family to the Fair is one of the highlights of my Summer.

Farms are the heart of Iowa. I was raised on a farm as a child and learned the value of hard work. Hunting, fishing, baling hay, planting and harvesting crops are all a part of the Iowa culture. My children and I live on a small hobby farm today. Chickens, goats, and four-wheelers are a part of our daily life.

Small towns are numerous in Iowa. Growing up in a place where everyone knows your name is something that most people have never experienced. Small town culture is a privilege to be a part of.
