ESOL for Everyone? Ashley Madrid-Rivas

Students who are forced to participate in the ESOL program miss opportunities to take other more interesting classes.
ESOL curriculum focuses on what students can’t do, instead of what they can do already.
Some ESOL teaches might disagree because they believe that they are celebrating student’s abilities with their second language and not holding them back from other classes.
After concreting both sides of the issue supported that students who were born here in the U.S should not be enrolled to the ESOL program.
