“ seven years “ by Lukas Graham

Once I was seven years old my momma told me

Go make yourself some friends or you'll be lonely

Once I was seven years old

It was a big big world, but we thought we were bigger

Pushing each other to the limits, we were learning quicker

By eleven smoking herb and drinking burning liquor

Never rich so we were out to make that steady figure

Once I was eleven years old my daddy told me

Go get yourself a wife or you'll be lonely

Once I was eleven years old

I always had that dream like my daddy before me

So I started writing songs, I started writing stories

Something about that glory just always seemed to bore me

'Cause only those I really love will ever really know me

Once I was twenty years old, my story got told

Before the morning sun, when life was lonely

Once I was twenty years old

I only see my goals, I don't believe in failure

'Cause I know the smallest voices, they can make it major

I got my boys with me at least those in favor

And if we don't meet before I leave, I hope I'll see you later

Once I was twenty years old, my story got told

I was writing about everything, I saw before me

Once I was twenty years old

Soon we'll be thirty years old, our songs have been sold

We've traveled around the world and we're still roaming

Soon we'll be thirty years old

I'm still learning about life

My woman brought children for me

So I can sing them all my songs

And I can tell them stories

Most of my boys are with me

Some are still out seeking glory

And some I had to leave behind

My brother I'm still sorry

Soon I'll be sixty years old, my daddy got sixty-one

Remember life and then your life becomes a better one

I made a man so happy when I wrote a letter once

I hope my children come and visit, once or twice a month

Soon I'll be sixty years old, will I think the world is cold

Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me ( when he says that he is imagining if he will be alone or will he have a family.)

Soon I'll be sixty years old

Soon I'll be sixty years old, will I think the world is cold

Or will I have a lot of children who can warm me

Soon I'll be sixty years old

Once I was seven years old, momma told me

Go make yourself some friends or you'll be lonely

Once I was seven years old

Once I was seven years old

This song uses hyberbaly because he says "It was a big big world, but we thought we were bigger" and you can't be bigger than the world but he says this because he is big in fame. Another hyberbaly is when he says "Once I was eleven years old my daddy told me Go get yourself a wife or you'll be lonely", you can't get married at 11 so he means that go be friends with girls or other people.

time will fly on

“ Till I collapse” by Eminem

Cause sometimes you just feel tired,

Feel weak, and when you feel weak, you feel like you wanna just give up.

But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength

And just pull that shit out of you and get that motivation to not give up

And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you wanna just fall flat on your face and collapse.

Yo left, yo left, yo left right left

Yo left, yo left, yo left right left

Yo left, yo left, yo left right left

Yo left, yo left, yo left right left

Till I collapse I’m spilling these raps long as you feel 'em ( this is personification because you can't feel rap, but he says this because what he says will make you have emotions.)

Till the day that I drop you'll never say that I'm not killing them

'Cause when I am not then I'ma stop pinning 'em

And I am not hip-hop and I’m just not Eminem.

Subliminal thoughts when I'm stop sending them women are caught in webs spin and hock venom ( when he is saying this he means that he is not ready for a relationship because that will stop him from doing what he likes)

Adrenaline shots of penicillin could not get the illing to stop.

Amoxacillin is just not real enough.

The criminal cop killing hip-hop filling a minimal swap to cop millions of Pac listeners.

You're coming with me, feel it or not you’re gonna fear it like I showed you the spirit of god lives in us.

You hear it a lot, lyrics that shock is it a miracle or am I just a product of pop fizzing up.

For shizzel my wizzel this is the plot listen up you bizzels forgot slizzel does not give a fuck.

Till the roof comes off, till the lights go out

Till my legs give out, can’t shut my mouth.

Till the smoke clears out. Am I high? Perhaps

I'ma rip this shit till my bones collapse.

Till the roof comes off, till the lights go out

Till my legs give out, can’t shut my mouth.

Till the smoke clears out. Am I high? Perhaps

I'ma rip this shit till my bones collapse.

Music is like magic here’s a certain feeling you get when you're real

And you spit and people are feeling your shit.

This is your moment and every single minute you spend trying to hold onto it

'cause you may never get it again.

So while you’re in it try to get as much shit as you can

And when your run is over just admit when it's at its end.

'Cause I'm at the end of my wits with half this shit that gets in.

I got a list here's the order of my list that it's in.

It goes Reggie, Jay-Z, Tupac and Biggie, Andre from OutKast, Jada, Kurupt, Nas and then me.

But in this industry I'm the cause of a lot of envy, so when I’m not put on this list the shit does not offend me.

That's why you see me walk around like nothing's bothering me.

Even though half you people got a fucking problem with me.

You hate it but you know respect you’ve got to give me

The press's wet dream like Bobby and Whitney. Nate hit me.

Soon as a verse starts I eat it at MC’s heart

What is he thinking? How not to go against me? Smart.

And it's absurd how people hang on every word.

I’ll probably never get the props I feel I ever deserve

But I’ll never be served my spot is forever reserved

If I ever leave earth that would be the death of me first.

'Cause in my heart of hearts I know nothing could ever be worse.

That’s why I’m clever when I put together every verse

My thoughts are sporadic, I act like I’m an addict

I rap like I’m addicted to smack it with s like I’m Kim Mathers.

But I don’t want to go forth and back in constant battles [ when he says that he means that he has a lot of arguments so the go back and forth and when you are in a battle you attack back and forth.]

The fact is I would rather sit back and bomb some rappers.

So this is like a full blown attack I’m launching at them

The track is on some battling raps who want some static

'Cause I don’t really think that the fact that I’m Slim matters

A plaque of platinum status is whack if I'm not the baddest. So...

Until the roof

The roof comes off

Until my legs

Give out from underneath me

I will not fall,

I will stand tall,

Feels like no one can beat me.

When he says " music is like magic" this is a simile and he means that music can make you feel things that are explainable, like magic. Another simile is when he says " I rap like I’m addicted to smack" when he means is that he love raping and he wont stop and when he compares it to " smack" ( cocaine ) because it is addictive when you use it and he is "addictive" to raping.

one of the Brownlee brothers almost collapsed in the 700 meter track but his brother helped get to the finish line.

" Eye of the tiger" by surviver

Risen up back on the streets

Took my time, took my chances

went the distance now i'm back on my feet

just a man and his will to survive

so many times, it happens to fast

you change your passion for glory

don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past

you must fight just to keep them alive

its the eye of the tiger

its the cream of the fight

rising up to the challange of our rivals

as the last known survivor stalks the prey at night

and hes watching us all in the eye of the tiger

face to face, out in the heat

hangin' tough, staying hungry

they stack the odds 'til we take to the street

for we kill with the skill to survive

it the eye of the tiger

its the cream of the fight

rising up to the challenge of our rival

as the last known survivor stalks the prey in the night

and hes watching us all in the eye of the tiger

risin' up, straight to the top

had the guts, got the glory

went the distance now i'm now not gonna stop

just a man and his will to survive

its the eye of the tiger

its the cream of the fight

rising up to the challenge of our rival

as the last known survivor stalks the prey in the night

and hes watching us all in the eye of the tiger

the eye of the tiger ( x4)

When he says " The eye of the tiger" that is a metaphor because the eyes of a tiger always look like their focused and this song is about being focused of your dreams. Another metaphor is "don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past" you can't hold on to your dreams but this means that to never stop perusing your dreams.

"Hearing"by jesus duenas

this song will have onamonapia

As I start to work I hear " SSTTZZZ" from the grills behind me like if a black smith put a heated sword in water.

then I " SWUSH" from the cups that are being filled with soda on the right of me like if it were to be endless.

after that I hear " KACHING" from the registers that are getting money like a greedy person.

in front of me I hear people talking " BLA BLA BLA...." as if they wold talk till they lay on their graves.

i Hear kids playing with their air plain toys " VVRROOMM" as if they were real planes.

I Hear the car engines turn on " NNNNNNNUNNNNNNNUUNNNN" as they'er monster trucks.

then my boss walks up to me and tell me to go get back to work

as i work i think....

I should thankful that I can hear.
